SIDE DISH: Greek Lentil Chowder
This is an old family recipe and popular in winter - there are no exact ingredients - but it's an easy recipe and we hope you enjoy experimenting!
  • Chopped Onion
  • Brown Lentils (pre boiled and drained)
  • Parsley, chopped
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Bay leaf
  • Garlic
  • Tomato Paste
  • Tomatoes (cans)
  • Olive Oil (see in store)
Fry the onion slowly in the oil until soft then add the parsley, brown lentils, and whole cloves of garlic. Stir all together and brown a bit. Add the bay leaf, tomato paste, cans of tomato and salt and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes till flavours have combined. You can add water to thin but this will dilute flavour so adjust seasonings.
 
Serve with fish fillets.
