The Lowdown on Packaged Food

 

  • Be warned they are filled with additives and stripped of nutrients! 
  • They hide lots of sugar = obesity, cancer, heart disease...
  • Too much salt = heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure... 
  • They may contain refined starches = weight gain
  • They may contain trans fats = raises your bad cholesterol

 

If you are cutting back take baby steps first slowly reducing the amount till you have weaned yourself off!

 And don't forget to EAT whole foods: fish, veges, fruit...
